Winona Ryder joins Untitled Ron Howard Comedy

Winona Ryder has been all but invisible in the last few years, and aside from her small role as Spock’s mommy in the Star Trek Reboot/Sequel, she really hasn’t been in much.

But now we get news that she will be joining a comedy with Vince Vaughn and Kevin James where she will play a cheating wife.

Ramascreen says:

Ryder has signed on to co-star in the untitled comedy by director Ron Howard, starring Vince Vaughn and Kevin James…

The script was written by Allen Loeb who penned 21 and the upcoming Wall Street 2: Money Never Sleeps. The plot is about the plot.. “Kevin and Vince will play best friends and business partners, and Vaughn is tortured when he observes his pal’s wife getting intimate with another man in a restaurant. Should he tell?” It’s a… buddy/infidelity comedy. Ryder will play Kevin’s unfaithful wife.

I really like Kevin James in the supporting role slot. He just doesn’t shine as a leading man, but he works well when he is second fiddle to the real funny of the movie. And who better to hide in the shadows of than Vince Vaughn.

I will reserve anticipation until I see a trailer, but it could work.

Winona playing up her often down played sexuality is a GREAT THING!! She is so hot man (and a klepto) dude i will see it just to see if i find her in compromising positions due to her unfaithfulness.
