Arkham City, Mr Freeze

2009’s Batman: Arkham Asylum was a great example of a game blurring the lines between movies and games, most of all it is definately the best Batman game ever made. Delivering a rich story, in some cases fantastic voice acting and just a great time from the moment you sit down to when you finally realize hours have passed and you need to get off your ass.  With the highly anticipated sequel looming in the not so distant future, it is safe to say that any Batman or game fan for that matter needs to mark their calendar for another go.

Check out this reveal for Mr Freeze as he joins the already large cast of villains.

I will without a doubt sit down and forgo any and all obligations once Arkham City hits the shelves much to the dismay of everyone around me. You know what, screw em because on October 18th, “I am Batman!”

@ Erik – Thanks for adding the video, and I hope you guys forego the tradition of stymying conversation on this site by deleting reader comments.

  2. Don’t get me wrong, I play video games and love reading about games that are coming soon, etc… but … i expect to read about them at gaming websites. Not movie websites. What’s been happening to this website? It seems to be changing formats dramatically and without warning.

    1. Hey Ulfsark, trailer caught my eye, dont worry we are not going to be reviewing or talking about games, still about movies – this game is just more cinematic than most and feelt like a good enough fit. While few and far between, cinematic games and even trailers for games based on a movie or two have been covered here in the past.

      1. I played the first one, and yeah, it was pretty cinematic. Point taken. Lets just hope we don’t get a return of those interactive movies from the 90’s, huh? :P
