Maggie Grace is an accomplished actress. She’s accomplished to annoy the hell out of me in the few roles I’ve managed to see her perform. Today we learn that she’s going to be back, alongside Liam Neeson, for Taken 2.

Maggie Grace has wrapped up her deal with Luc Besson’s EuropaCorp to reprise the daughter role alongside Liam Neeson in Taken 2, the film that Transporter 3 helmer Olivier Megaton is poised to direct.
She better not get kidnapped again. IF she does she better get shot. I have mixed feelings about her primarily based on the roles I’ve seen. I haven’t seen enough of her to form a fair opinion but good god she annoyed me to uncontrollable levels in Taken and in Lost. Maybe she’s just that good at playing the annoying princess? I swear to B.o.B. I jumped up and did a little dance when she was killed off of Lost. I rewound and looped that for at least a good 10 minutes. Whatever her role is in this movie I’m praying that it doesn’t ever elicit that type of reaction out of me as it’s rare for me to just be annoyed by somebody’s on screen presence.
Shes hot plu i like her Faster for the most part.
Taken was a fun movie. Neeson was awesome. But a sequel–I don’t think the storyline lends itself to a sequel. I’m all for Neeson doing a spinoff/prequel so we get to see his character doing more of the awesome stuff he can do. But don’t call it “Taken 2”–I just won’t buy her being kidnapped again.
Actually, I think it does lend itself for a sequel. He became something of a bodyguard for a celebrity in the flick and they also left the door open for something with his original ops team that was introduced early in the movie. My imagination sees plenty of opportunity.

If Elisha Cuthbert’s (then) sexy lil’ ass can get in trouble for like 3-4 seasons of 24, then one more flick w/ the hottie here isn’t as bad as taking your nuts to a cheese grater.
She’s hot eye candy. Don’t see why all the panties are in a bunch in here.
It’s not like Taken was The Usual Suspects. It was an action movie. So get over yourselves.
I shouted for joy at her death in Lost as well. Regardless, they better not re-kidnap her.
If they do, bad ass Liam needs to get on the phone and say,
“I don’t know who you are. I don’t know what you want. If you are looking for ransom, I can tell you I don’t have money. But what I do have are a very particular set of skills; skills I have acquired over a very long career. Skills that make me a nightmare for people like you. If you let my daughter go now, that’ll be the end of it. I will not look for you, I will not pursue you… But if you don’t, I will look for you, I will find you, and I will THANK YOU!”

and I really didn’t find her THAT annoying (especially not in the black viynl and chains outfit.)
Funny thing you mention the Transporter film (part 3) I thought that Asian girl from part 1’s voice was ANNOYING AS HELL!!!!

I find it interesting that on a different thread just MINUTES ago you are complaining that you wanted Schwarzenegger to do something “original” but here you are applauding a sequel.
I find that puzzling.
How does him liking the idea of a sequel to Taken have anything at all to do with what he would like to see Schwarzenegger do next?
He didn’t want Arnie doing a sequel or something that has been done before – that he should do something “original” and then admits he is excited about Taken 2?
Seems a little double standardish there… Arnie should do something original but a Taken sequel is acceptable.
You know Rodney, my thoughts about Arnold’s “Governator” cartoon series is that it is very very obvious that it copied certain aspects or features from other comic book characters such as from Iron Man (the suit assembly), from Batman (the cave), from Tron Legacy (the motorcycle) and yeah from the Terminator(the glasses and the robots seen in the trailer). So I’m sure the other fans have seen and felt the same I did. So it feels like a rip off.
What I’d like to see is that Arnold going back being the old Arnold … I don’t like a “watered-down” Arnold… the shotgun wielding Arnold, the action star Arnold is the guy I want to see in theaters. But since he’s going to be 64, it’ll be too much to ask from Arnie to do all that. Perhaps he’ll make good movies like this “Last Stand” flick that I’ve just read. Movies that are worth watching featuring Arnold…. Hope Mr. Schwarzenegger reads this.
One of our favorite drinking games is based on Taken. One of the rules is to drink every time her character runs like a little girl. She does it in every god damn scene she is in.
