Matthew Fox also in “I, Alex Cross”

Matthew Fox seems to be ending his hiatus from acting as today we find out that he has signed on to join Tyler Perry in the upcoming “I, Alex Cross” flick being helmed by director Rob Cohen.

Fox plays Michael Sullivan, a killer known as the Butcher of Sligo. When Cross thwarts one of his killing attempts, Sullivan makes his retribution personal, by gruesomely killing the detective’s wife.

I loved Lost. Sure, I didn’t bother watching the show until after it had already concluded but I did like the long marathon sessions it developed in my house once it all was released on DVD. Only a few of those involved stood out to me like Fox, and to me he will always be Jack Shephard, but I strongly welcome the idea of him dissuading that association out of my head by taking on such a contrasting role with Tyler Perry no less.

  1. Good on Lost…..Yeh
    Good in Speed Racer….NO!

I kinda have the same opinion of this guy that Seth Rogen’s character had in “knocked up”
Whats ineresting about Mattew Fox? Nothing! Nothings interesting about Mattew Fox!

Tyler Perry making this? Now that’s interesting.

    1. Tyler Perry isn’t “Making” this one like he does when writing/directing the Madea movies, just taking on the title role as the lead actor.

Aside from the Cameo in Star Trek I believe this will be the first film he stars in a movie that hasn’t written and directed himself.

  2. Alex Cross is a great character I read more than a few of the James Patterson novels about him and they were all great.

Morgan Freeman did a good job at playing him but he was too old for the part when I think of Alex Cross i dont think of Freeman.

Tyler Perry is a very interesting choice to play Crossa and I think if he realy goes deep into the character he could do a superb job at it.

this is one of the movies I am realy looking forward to seeing
