Michael Bay dismisses rumors of more Transformers movies and I’m glad

Michael Bay has been a hot topic of discussion lately as rumors have circulated that he may be involved in more Transformers movies. The rumor seemed to have some credibility to it due to the fact that the source of the rumor happened to be the CEO of Hasbro himself Brian Goldner. Well, Micahel Bay is painting a completely different picture about the Transformers future.

I am currently not talking to Paramount on T4 and T5 despite reports. I’m looking at a lot of possibilities coming my way right now weighing options. Most likely going to be doing the low budget Pain and Gain, a true story crime thriller. It’s a very quick shoot and quite funny. Also just finishing the 3 disc set of the Transformer trilogy.

Well, this is kinda surprising. Not only because the original rumor came from the CEO of Hasbro, but also those billions of reasons as to why they may be able to convince the director to return.

Either way, I’d love to see another director at the helm of the franchise. I don’t believe that the movies were as “bad” as some other critics but I do know that they each had their faults and I would welcome the opportunity of another director steering the franchise with open arms. There’s a plethora of other directors, like Steve Spielberg himself or David Yates, out there who could easily jump in on the franchise and introduce new ideas to help benefit the films and maintain the momentum that Bay started.

The only lingering question is “If not Bay, then who?” Any suggestions?

    1. Yeah but you would be more bots that look the same and it would be harder to differentiate the good guys and the bad guys other than Megatron (CAUSE HE CHANGES FOR NO BODY.)

  1. Not that I really want a 4th or 5th Transformers but I enjoyed what Alex Proyas did with “I, Robot” and am sure he could bring something different to another Transformers movie

  2. I enjoyed the Transformers trilogy and would love to see a lot more but I hope that the next set of movies are a lot shorter in length. The first three were way tooo long.
