Star Tours opens in California

Disney has given a complete overhaul to its popular Star Tours attraction and Star Tours II opened this past weekend at Walt Disney World in California (The Florida attraction opened May 20th)
Of course they made a big deal out of the re-opening of the attraction with George Lucas in attendance.
Adding locations from the Prequel films such as Kashyyk (home of the Wookiees) and Naboo. Word is, that despite fan distaste, JarJar does make an appearance.
The ride also takes advantage of new 3D technologies to help solidify the illusion.

Nitpicking, but Disney World is only in Florida; Disney Land is in California.
As an aside, I’ll always love the original version of Star Tours. It would have been nice if they kept at least a few of the original “rides” around. Half the reason to go back to Disney is to reminisce.
Rode it a couple of weeks ago here in Orlando. Definitely an upgrade.
I’m at Disney World in Orlando on vacation. I rode it three times yesterday. Freaking awesome. I booed lustfully when Jar Jar appeared during one of the rides.
