A Vida de Pi the Life of Pi international poster

— Posted by The "Superior" Anthony

I just saw this really neat looking international poster for Life of Pi. Some of you may have noticed that I’ve begun critiquing posters a little bit lately due to “expertise” in graphic design (ha!) and this one seemed like a nice enough piece to share and critique with you guys:

It’s a nice little mosaic.  A little cliche to use this technique but some of us will surely magnify and inspect the images within to see if there are any nuggets of information in there. I’m not too much of a fan of this particular poster but I do acknowledge the significance of that tiger. My favorite part? The color scheme as it reflects that now unforgettable image of the boat and the sunset. It’s a nice image and will stand out in theaters and exhibits but I’m not impressed.

Sound off in the comments if you dare think I’m wrong.
