I have a habit avoiding remakes. Total Recall? Looked impressive but my gut told me to skip it and I have no regrets. Carrie is one of those films I’m not too comfortable seeing remade. I wanna see that one remade as much as I want them to remake TheShining and make Tony a dull boy. Sorry. I’ve acknowldged the film with friends from time to time and now I get a new focus in the conversation thanks to the new photo released:

It’s bloody and the folks behind the movie have semeingly done well with recreating a signature moment, but how much weight will that hold with audiences? Only time will tell… Here’s another image of Julianne Moore:
