Breathtaking new banner for The Hobbit

— Posted by The "Superior" Anthony

Warner Bros has unveiled a massive banner for “The Hobbit: An Unexpected Journey,” which gives an idea of how much of JRR Tolkien’s book actually made it into the first movie. Check out the banner below.

Plot: Bilbo Baggins (Martin Freeman), a Hobbit, journeys to the Lonely Mountain accompanied by a group of dwarves to reclaim a treasure taken from them by the dragon Smaug.

Peter Jackson returned to direct the “The Hobbit,” which is set to hit conventional and 3D theaters on December 14th, 2012. The sequel will follow on December 13th, 2013.

A beautiful new banner has been made available for The Hobbit courtesy of Warner Bros showcasing a plethora of imagery and and beauty imagery to promote the event. What it does it tell me? Tells me that I’m not the only one excited that Peter Jackson completed principle photography. Oh and make sure you click that thumbnail to see the image in all its massiveness, that one’s trimmed.

"I don't know who you are. I don't know what you want. If you are looking for ransom, I can tell you I don't have money. But what I do have are a very particular set of skills; skills I have acquired over a very long career. Skills that make me a nightmare for people like you. If you let my daughter go now, that'll be the end of it. I will not look for you, I will not pursue you. But if you don't, I will look for you, I will find you, and I will kill you."
