Donald Glover’s talks about his “The Amazing Spider-Man” Easter Egg

Some of you may remember the online campaign of one Donald Glover petitioning to capture the role of Peter Parker for “The Amazing Spider-Man” reboot going so far as to dress up as the character in an episode of ‘Community’. Sorry buddy, that job went to Andrew Garfield. Either way it appears that Marc Webb has nestled an easter egg within the film involving Donald Glover and here’s a clip in which he talks about the role.

“I was pretty aware of the Easter egg that Marc Webb put in there because he asked me — I guess when they were filming it — if it was OK to do it. So there’s some stuff in Spider-Man’s bedroom that’s reflective of his musical or television taste.”

He went on to say that he can’t discuss the Easter Egg. “I don’t know. I’m not allowed to talk about it. I had to sign some stuff, but I think it’s pretty dope,” he explained.
