J.J. Abrams and Jon Favreau talk Star Wars VII
— Posted by Ryan
Who is going to be credited with the next Star Wars film?!?! I can say it’s not going to be J.J. Abrams or Jon Favreau. They both had positive words in regards to the franchise, but both seem apprehensive about being tied to the film in anyway. Look below at what they had to say.
Abrams’ words:
Favreau’s words:
Although there has not been any speculation regarding their involvement in the films, they’ve both essentially given a preemptive “No” to being involved with the next film. I have to say that I understand why they would not want to be involved. Star Wars fans are the most stringent critics out there because it is next to impossible to satisfy them and give them an experience equivalent to when they saw the original films. As a huge Star Wars fan, I would love to see J.J. Abrams involved. After seeing what he was able to do with a franchise he wasn’t a fan of (Star Trek), I think he is one of the few directors that could give the fans some satisfaction. This post was written by :

When dissecting a film, he focuses on all elements of film-making including some fan/cult factors. He believes that character development is the foundation of a good film and usually starts his analysis of a film from there moving forward.
