Robocop is one of those films that I question. I don’t know if it’s a movie I even want to see re-made, but not because the original film is some sacred classic but rather because that the concept just might be a bit dated. Robotic cop in a world with Transformers and Avengers? Well the movie is being made and entered production a couple weeks back and we all got to gawk at the no robosuit and move on. Now we have a chance to see the crusaders’ motorbike and new release date:

Sony Pictures has shuffled around its 2013 and 2014 film schedule with one decidedly drastic shift taking place according to EW.

Jose Padilha’s “Robocop” remake, which began shooting a few weeks ago, has been pushed back a full six months. Instead of an August 9th 2013 release, the movie is now slated for a February 7th 2014 release.

 

February? Didn’t Ghost Rider release in February? February 2014?! That’s not making me confident in this film. Not. At. All.
