Trailer: To Rome With Love

— Posted by Ryan

The trailer for Woody Allen’s new film, To Rome With Love has arrived. The movie has a very prominent cast list and seems to be presented in a typical Woody Allen fashion. Take a look below.

It seems as though Woody Allen really loves Europe. In a lot of his films he either makes an appearance or finds a way to make himself appear in another character. I thoroughly enjoyed Midnight In Paris and this seems to have the same vibe. Allen’s movies are not everyone’s cup of tea, they are usually very obscure and quirky with a lot of conversational dialogue between unique characters. The film does have a great cast and from the trailer you can tell that the film is going to be very character driven. I hope that the characters are dynamic enough to hold the audience’s interest.

First and foremost, Ryan Brown is a fan. He has been an avid fan of both the theater and cinema since an early age and his passion for both has been continually growing ever since. When dissecting a film, he focuses on all elements of film-making including some fan/cult factors. He believes that character development is the foundation of a good film and usually starts his analysis of a film from there moving forward. His writing style may be influenced by his background of narrative and argumentative studies in the subject, but he tends to enjoy a more conversational style to better interact with the readers, unlike some other pretentious and pompous writers.

  1. I saw the movie “to roma with love” and was impressed by the opening scene when a police officer (Mr. Pierluigi  Marchionne) begins the film with a great piazza venezia rome postcard. A brilliant idea Mr. woody allen with the narrator who accompanies and unites the four stories of the film.
