Check out the first poster for ‘Captain America: The Winter Soldier’

— Posted by The Amazing Anthony

“Captain America: The Winter Soldier” picks up where “The Avengers” left off, as Steve Rogers (Chris Evans) struggles to embrace his role in the modern world and teams up with Natasha Romanoff (Scarlett Johansson), aka Black Widow, to battle a powerful yet shadowy enemy in present-day Washington, DC.

Gonna make this one quick. The San Diego Comic Con is almost upon us and in the next week I fully expect for the internet to explode with media and materials for anything even loosely recognizing a comic book film.  To beat that rush of material Marvel has chosen to show off a poster for their upcoming ‘Captain America: The Winter Soldier’ film now. I personally think the poster is simple yet effective with what it sets out to do. Crap is gonna hit the fan in the next Captain America movie. I like how Scarlett Johansson is getting proper billing in the synopsis and I find it intriguing that this movie is being labeled as the one to pick up where The Avengers left off considering the fact that Iron Man 3 is already out and Thor 2 will feature the villain for the first Avengers film.

That’s all for now.

"History prefers legends to men. It prefers nobility to brutality, soaring speeches to quite deeds. History remembers the battle, but forgets the blood. However, history remembers me before I was a President. It shall only remember a fraction of the truth."
