Kevin Eastman says the next Ninja Turtles film will be awesome
— Posted by Ryan
Despite the disagreements between Kevin Eastman and Peter Laird on the upcoming Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles film, Eastman claims that there is a preconceived misconception about the film and that they are aiming to please the fans first. Take a look at what he said below.
He mentioned Joss Whedon and mentioned The Avengers which is always music to my ears, but the director is not Joss Whedon and the film is not The Avengers. The Ninja Turtles were my obsession as a kid so there is a fanboy side of me that hears the cry of, “You’re destroying my childhood,” from the fans. Despite my fanboy side, I am not going to judge the film but Eastman’s comments just gave the film some big shoes to fill. I hope it is awesome and it draws inspiration from Whedon and The Avengers but with Megan Fox as April and the turtles supposedly being aliens wouldn’t we just need Shia Labeouf to sign on to make this film, “Transformers: Turtle Bots?”

First and foremost, Ryan Brown is a fan. He has been an avid fan of both the theater and cinema since an early age and his passion for both has been continually growing ever since. When dissecting a film, he focuses on all elements of film-making including some fan/cult factors. He believes that character development is the foundation of a good film and usually starts his analysis of a film from there moving forward. His writing style may be influenced by his background of narrative and argumentative studies in the subject, but he tends to enjoy a more conversational style to better interact with the readers, unlike some other pretentious and pompous writers.
