Am I becoming more aware, or is there a lot more gay movies out? This is just another example of Hollywood taking advantage of a current social movement. But, you know me, anything that raises awareness I am down for. There are two things that I gathered from the trailer. Either, this movie tells the untold reality of woman, who is either engaging in her first homosexual relationship, or has always been homosexual, but is forced to hide it due to the constructs of society. Carol is not the first to tell this story, but it might be the best. The team they gathered for the film is all-star, plus we get Cate Blanchette kissing Rooney Mara. That alone is worth the price of admission. It looks amazing. I do not have any complaints or any bad feeling about the upcoming film, do you? Watch the trailer and share your thoughts.
