When did these movies start looking so cool? I vaguely remember the first movie but it failed to capture my long term interest. This new film, or at the very least its trailer, seems to be leaps and bounds better than what I remember. Maybe it was the similarities to other films that compelled me to give up on this franchise too soon because this movie looks pretty good. It still shares a lot of similarities in visual style with The Hunger Games but it does seem like a nice divergent in between those films a lot like how Z Nation and The Walking Dead somewhat compliment each other with subject but not competing in approach. I guess I’ve got some catching up to do because I don’t even remember if I saw Insurgent or not.
After the earth-shattering revelations of INSURGENT, Tris must escape with Four and go beyond the wall enclosing Chicago. For the first time ever, they will leave the only city and family they have ever known. Once outside, old discoveries are quickly rendered meaningless with the revelation of shocking new truths. Tris and Four must quickly decide who they can trust as a ruthless battle ignites beyond the walls of Chicago which threatens all of humanity. In order to survive, Tris will be forced to make impossible choices about courage, allegiance, sacrifice and love.
