The Games maker has a lot going for it in this trailer. The trailer is released at the right time as I’m open to children flicks at the moment and it seems to boast a pretty awesome cast. I definitely get a lot of Harry Potter vibes from this trailer and that’s a good thing too. I miss the innocense of the early Harry Potter films and the wondrous adventures that all but disappeared in the latter films and this seems like a good spiritual successor.
What I don’t like is outright sense that’s it’s blatantly ripping off Harry Potter. That tattoo reminds me of Harry’s forehead scar and I can’t help but wonder if there will be a giant chess game in this movie too. I’m curious, but only mildly interested.
