Time Out of Mind Official Trailer

Richard Gere, playing a homeless man, is not much of a movie for me. I live in New York City, and we treat our homeless as inconvenient trash. If they are begging for money, we walk right passed them. If they are asking for something to eat, we hide our food. And, if they are sleeping on a bench, we kick it. The New Yorker mindset, if you want to sleep, go home. But, other people have a soft spot for the homeless, and so, I can see how this film can tug at their hearts. I will say this, if it turns out that Gere has Alzheimer’s Disease or some form of Dementia, then this is a completely different film, and I am all on board. I am all for raising awareness especially for mental illness. Watch the trailer, and let me know what you think. Help me decide what side of the fence I should be on.
