There’s a war going on outside, this rings especially true for the folks who happen to live in Chicago as the troubled city has experienced a violent death toll that exceeds those seen in actual wars. The violence witnessed on a daily basis in Chicago is outstanding and the residents have renamed their city “Chiraq” to reflect the nauseating violence that they have to deal with. Spike Lee, Samuel L. Jackson, Wesley Snipes and more bring you this story through the artistic lens of Lee himself in his new joint “CHI-RAQ”.

This is the first Spike Lee film in a while I’m excited to see! The last few movies of his were either documentaries or the not-a-sequel to Do The Right Thing “Red Hook Summer” which didn’t give me what I wanted. Here’s hoping we can see something as entertaining as some of his earlier films.
