Well, not the Scorpion King, but the Rock. It seems that there are some rumblings about The Rock taking over Arnold’s character “Dutch” for another Predator film. FilmForce.Net reports the following: With an interesting script for Predator 3 circulating in Hollywood, the question has come up: who will play Schwarzenegger’s character “Dutch” if the Austrian Oak becomes the governor of California? Another fit, muscle-bound celebrity is needed, and one name that has been suggested is The Rock, the wrestler-cum-actor who hit it big with The Mummy Returns and The Scorpion King. Moviehole reports that according to Sam Park, The Rock is a leading contender for the role. Park, by the way, is the writer of Predator 3: The Deadlier of the Species, the script that seems like the best contender for a second Predator sequel.

Ok, all joking aside, I’m actually starting to believe in The Rock as a legitimate action film hero. The Scorpion King was a fun flick, and the trailer for the umcoming The Rundown looks quite good. Heck, I say give The Rock a shot, it could be fun.
