Scary Movie 3 is just a scary waste of time

I decided to take a break from studying for my Estates Law exam tomorrow morning and run out to catch a flick. We decided to take in Scary Movie 3. Wow. What a total and utter waste of my time. I don’t know why I even gave this one a chance. Don’t get me wrong, there are a number of moments in the film that made me laugh out loud. But those moments were few and far between. Most of the time the gags could be seen coming from a million miles away, or they were carried on WAAAAYYY too long and ruined the joke.

In a spoof comedy you don’t worry about the acting, direction, special effect, plot or any other important feature in a real movie√¢‚Ǩ¬¶ but it absolutely MUST be funny. Overall, Scary Movie 3 isn’t. After the movie was thankfully over I mentioned that if they took all the funny parts and made it into a half hour tv special it would have been great. Like I said, there were some hilarious moments√¢‚Ǩ¬¶ but nowhere near enough of them to keep me interested, and barely enough of them to keep me awake.

So use your money to go catch Kill Bill (a fantastic flick in my opinion) again.
