A while ago John posted an article about Julia Ormond and how she disappeared off the radar. This very talented and attractive actress seemed destined for superstardom and she just vanished.
Well the new film Iron Jawed Angels stars Julia alongside Academy Award Winner Hillary Swank. Defiant young activists take the women’s suffrage movement by storm, putting their lives at risk to help American women win the right to vote.
This is an HBO Tv Movie, but with all the hype around it, you would think it was a big screen movie. It definately has the story and actors to justify taking it to the big screen. I am not sure why this isn’t there.
Julia was last seen predominately in the movie world in 1995 in Sabrina opposite Harrison Ford. From the looks of her filmography, she has been doing a few foreign films. With 7 titles in the last 9 years, Julia has not proven to be as busy as her buzz seemed to have been leading up to.
