Wow. Has Terry Gilliam finally shaken his curse? After years of having film projects fall apart on him at the last minute The Hollywood Reporter is reporting that not only is Terry Gilliam’s Brothers Grimm now in the can but he’s got another project fully financed and ready to go. The Recorded Picture Co is currently shopping Gilliam’s Tideland (based on a book by Mitch Cullin) to prospective distributors at the Cannes film festival. The film is being made with British and Canadian money which just goes to show that us Canucks are a whole lot smarter than the suits in Hollywood.
