Oh my. The trailer for the Resident Evil sequel is online and it looks so bad it’ll have you thinking that Paul W. S. Anderson’s original was Citizen Kane. Pick any aspect of film making you want – cinematography, production design, acting, action sequences, special effects – they’re all wretchedly bad. Truly, horribly bad. Aside from a brief smile that the scene of them blowing up Toronto’s misbegotten city hall will provide those of us who live here there’s nothing good about this at all.
