Charlize Theron as Aeon Flux

This is a match up that might just fall under the Catwoman category if its not done right. Hot Actress + Sexy Revealing Costume = Bad movie.

Lets hope there is more to this than just a skimpy outfit.

ComingSoon.net reports: Filming on Paramount’s Aeon Flux started today at Studio Babelsberg in Germany. The Karyn Kusama-directed film is based on the futuristic MTV animated series created by Peter Chung.

Aeon Flux is set 1,000 years in the future, when disease has wiped out the population save for one city. The acrobatic title character (Charlize Theron) is the top operative in an underground rebellion, but when sent on a mission to kill the government’s leader, she uncovers a secret making her question if she’s on the right side. Frances McDormand will play the Handler, the leader of the rebellion.

Hell, I hope they ditch the outfit from the cartoon and go with something that covers her. The skimpy lingerie outfit might have worked for this quirky sci-fi cartoon, but its just not practical for a “black ops” style agent to be showing so much untanned and vulnerable skin.

I like Charlize, and she definately fills the eyecandy quota for a film focused on the MTV crowd.

I am holding my breath on too many films.
