I know I know I know… I’m one of the fe people who really enjoyed Hulk. It took a different approach to a comic movie than most. It focused more on the people than the hero. It was more about human drama than about action… but I think that’s why I liked it… it was different. I’ve been affraid that they wouldn’t make a sequel since it didn’t smash any box office records. But it looks like DVD sales were strong enough to re-ignite the green monster into action again!
Superhero Hype reports that we can “expect a major announcement from Avi Arad soon about who the new director for Hulk 2 will be. And it looks like they have called Michael France in again to write a draft script for the second movie that will feature the Hulk in a more superhero role”
Ok, I’m excited. To me, the big question is can they get Eric Bana (who totally stole the show in Troy from Brad Pitt AND Orlando Bloom) to sign up? Without him, I’m just not interested.
***UPDATE***
FilmForce is now reporting that Michael France is not writing Hulk 2. I guess we’ll just have to wait and see how this turns out.
