Rumours have been flying for MONTHS now about the possibility of a Freddy Vs. Jason Vs. Ash movie. Love the idea or hate it… you KNOW you’d go see it if it actually gets made. This one has been bouncing back and forth between “yes it’s happening” and “no it’s not happening” more than a Wimbledon final. But apparently New Line Executive Jeff Katz says this thing could really happen. Movie Hole gives us this snippet of an interview:
Q: Can you confirm Freddy Vs. Jason Vs. Ash or Freddy Vs. Jason 2 as it’s currently titled?
Katz: There’s nothing official on the Freddy Vs. Jason 2 front yet, but I wrote the treatment and we’re all very excited about it.
Personally I’d LOVE to see this movie made. Maybe it’s not a good idea… but I’d watch it… and you know you would too. The rest of the interview is pretty interesting, so you should go check it out.
