Well, I guess this isn’t the first time (or the last time) the internet rumour mill has been wrong. As it turns out Buffy and Angel director Joss Whedon is NOT going to be directing the new X-Men film. Looks like he said so himself at a recent event. This is sad news to me. Not that I was ever a huge Buffy or Angel fan, but this guy just seems to know how to deal with the genre in general. I still think he would have been a great fit for the project. So where does this leave X3? The search for a director goes on I guess.
