…and another pause. Oh. My. God. I thought this kind of movie arrived hidden in a computer magazine shipped from an overseas distributor. What in the hell can they think to eek out from this in the way of a storyline? Surely IMDB gives us more on the movie? Oh yes, it does:
The big-screen adaptation of the fighting video game serial, which follows the adventures of an all-female kick-boxing squad.
Oh sweet lord. Well the game is all bouncing pixels, small costumes, high kicks and big falls so I guess the movie isn’t going to be much different.
However, the good news is that Corey Yuen is directing, and he’s a heavyweight in the martial arts movies arena, so that should make it interesting. Except…Oh no. The writer J.F. Lawton has some amazing credits to his name, Under Seige, Under Siege 2: Dark Territory and wait for it…oh yes, there is…Under Siege 3, and let’s not forget Cannibal Women in the Avocado Jungle of Death!
