Twisted Pictures brought us Saw, and whether you were one of the ones who told us liked it, or those who hate it, it certainly made us feel something. Since signing their nine picture deal they’ve been working hard, and their first is on its way. Whatever we thought of it, the stats speak volumes, it was one of the most profitable films of 2004.
Produced for $1.2 million, the film has grossed over $50 million domestically and nearly $100 million worldwide.
Rope of Silicon carry the news of Catacombs, their latest picture which is to star…
Shannyn Sossamon and Alecia Moore, or better known as Pink. The film is co-written and co-directed by David Elliot and Tomm Coker and will begin principal photography in Bucharest, Romania on March 7th
If you know anything of the Catacombs in Paris then they are ideal for some form of horror\thriller. Miles and miles filled with skeletons and used by many different types of people for many different things…is probably as far as I’ll go on that subject. However, there is a race from one end to the other you can enter…for those who are not easily spooked and don’t care about getting lost forever and dying a cold lonely death. Perhaps not that bad though.
Catacombs is the story of a young woman on her first visit out of the country. While in Paris, she is taken to an underground party in the Catacombs, a labyrinth of over 200 miles of 14th Century limestone tunnels under the Left Bank of the city, lined with the remains of 7 million people. When she is separated from her friends and becomes convinced that someone or something is chasing her, her vacation becomes a terrifying nightmare.
Still, for all its good points it’s starring Pink for god’s sake. John, prepare to rant.
