V for Vendetta gains Stephen Fry and John Hurt

V4Vendetta.jpgMore casting news, this time from V for Vendetta through Empire. The great Stephen Fry is signed up and he talks about that as well as his part in The Hitch Hikers Guide to the Galaxy:

I’m playing the character of Gordon Deitrich, who’s a chat show host who questions the authority of the people who run Britain in this post-viral facist state

He didn’t stop there though, he also revealed some other cast names we previously didn’t know about.

John Hurt, Tim Pigott-Smith, and Sinead Cusack

Superb. This is looking to be a great cast and a movie with great promise. Coming Soon also have some set pictures, just a couple grabbed during the day when not filming, but it gives you a small taste of the artwork.

My anticipation for this movie is rising fast, this could well turn out to be an amazing piece of work. What do you think of the casting? Who will Hurt be playing?
