Ice Station Zebra remake with Colin Farrell

Not just content with his current remake of Miami Vice, Colin Farrell is set to star in a remake of the Rock Hudson classic Ice Station Zebra.

That was a fantastic war movie and really epitimised the Cold War type spy film of the time, superb film with suspense galore. Moviehole carry the news:

Says Farrell, “The cinema’s been missing seat-gripping films like this. It’s still a classic and I’ve always loved Rock. I can’t wait to get going on this one.”

Farrell would play a sub commander on a perilous mission who must ferret out a Soviet agent on his ship. The original film was based on the book by Alistair MacLean.
