The trailer for this has been out for a short while, but only on an IE friendly site with reduced quality. So I’ve waited for the Quicktime version to pop up on Apple’s Trailer site.
Remember the first teaser that looked a bit weird and really went away from the first movie feel? It is supposed to be following the book much more, however there’s a whole generation that are into the movie and it’s hard not to compare. Well compare we did and the comments weren’t that great.
This one is a lot more like the original, and seems to indicate a bit more of a toned down performance from Johnny Depp. There’s also a fair list of actors in the movie, and it seems quite impressive, just check out the credits at the bottom of the trailer page first. Christopher Lee is in this too, as well as the superb James Fox
Charlie and the Chocolate Factory might just turn out to be a good movie after all. Thoughts on the new trailer?
