I don’t care what anyone else says. I LOVED ZOOLANDER! I laughed my fool ass off so many times in that film is defies belief. Yes it’s dumb, yes it’s an insult to our intelligence… but it… made… me… laugh. And that’s all that counted. I loved the characters and the gags were fantastic (who didn’t spit their pop out when the guys had the gasoline fight at the pumps and killed themselves??? I mean seriously!).
For for people like me, the news coming out of MovieHole today is nothing but a big bowl full of wonderful. Owen Wilson has revealed that he and Ben Stiller have already started talking about Zoolander 2. Here’s the scoop:
Moviehole talked to Owen Wilson today – in Australia to promote the smash hit comedy “Wedding Crashers” who revealed that he and Ben Stiller are in talks to do a sequel to the 2000 comedy hit “Zoolander”. “We’re talking about that now”, says Wilson, assuring us that it wouldn’t be a sequel without “Hansel”.
Yeah, sign me up. Zoolander still sits atop my favorite Frat Pack movies (even more than other goods ones like Dodgeball, Wedding Crashers and Old School). Oh man I hope this one gets made. It would sure beat the hell out of a Starsky and Hutch 2.
