Martin Short to Play Jack Frost In 3rd Santa Clause

Martin_Short.jpgFreezed Dried Movies reports that funny man Martin Short will be playing Jack Frost in the 3rd installment of The Santa Clause.

Walt Disney Pictures is in final negotiations with Martin Short to play the villain in “The Santa Clause 3.”
Short will get a seven-figure deal to play Jack Frost, who tries to take over Christmas from Santa Claus.

Tim Allen returns as Santa, aka Scott Calvin, who struggles to keep his new family happy while battling Frost.

Short released Jiminy Glick in Lalawood, a full length feature film based on his Comedy Central show Primetime Glick. I enjoyed the show, but the movie was just a longer version of the show and didn’t impress. Although I do like Short, and I think he would make an excellent villain opposite Tim Allen. Short is the type of comedic actor who can truly entertain by acting like an ass. This approach does not work well for everyone and when attempted can hurt an actors career –Brendan Fraser-, but Short has always pulled it off nicely.

With the Holiday season crawling closer, do you look forward to these types of Movies? If so, what are some of your favorite Holiday titles?
