Festival dominates Scottish BAFTA’s

ScottishBafta.jpgThe movie which caused a little bit of a stir in Edinburgh during the Festival was Festival. A black comedy about the goings on around the Comedy Festival in Edinburgh. According to The Scotsman:

‘Festival’ starring Daniela Nardini recieves six Scottish BAFTA nominations
Nominations mirror success of last year’s runaway winner ‘Young Adam’
Peter Mullan film ‘One A Clear Day’ also in the running for awards

So it’s looking like it will do well, and probably take a few of the nominations it’s up for. Another notable mention is…

On A Clear Day, which stars Peter Mullan and follows a man’s attempt to swim the English Channel, picked up three nominations this year.
