Here’s the trailer for the American remake of the Japanese horror Pulse aka Kairo. The original was a slightly flawed, but very well created horror, something that had more suspense and thriller to it than out and out scares. It was also quite clever, it made you think a bit more than normal.
Well here’s the word of warning for this remake. It’s going to tell you everything, and in fact it pretty much does in the trailer too. It’s going to be full over cheap scares and over the top visuals and explanations, leaving nothing to the imagination or the choice of the viewer.
Avoid at all costs. Only watch the movie as a second to the original. Oh, and if you are going to watch the trailer at Black Film through dtheatre, a big word of warning, it does give everthing away. Utter, cheap, lazy crap.
