I still shake my head at some of these remakes, I mean we all knew you couldn’t top the original Pink Panther, and I think we’re all agreed that you can’t beat the original The Hitcher – I mean the sequels showed us that alone! Still, some people want to try.
We had the news way back of the remake possibly starring Sam Rockwell as well as casting Julian McMahon as well…who knew. Associating a big name with a role does not make a good movie. Anyway the folks over at Dark Horizons have news from the Producers – no not the movie or stage show!
First-time director Dave Meyers is already set to direct, but there hasn’t been any casting announced. [Brad] Fuller and [Andrew] Form deny rumors that Sam Rockwell is attached, but the producers do say that the film will be bigger in scope and budget than their previous projects.
Wooo…yeah. That just fills me with hope, enthusiasm and a dasire to cry.
