Here’s a wierd one, I saw this trailer on Apple a few days ago and to be honest it didn’t inspire me to click on it, now I’ve read about it and watched the trailer I’m a bit more excited. Willem Dafoe, Dennis Quaid and Hugh Grant. Interested? Read on.
It seems to have a bizarre plot line to it. In the modern world the audience is more obsessed with a reality show than current affairs, and as the President (Quaid) appears to be heading off the popularity tracks (and perhaps his mental state) his advisor (Dafoe sporting and aged hair cut) puts him on a reality show as a Judge. Then some foreign terrorist group send in one of their men to the competition in an attempt to assasinate the President…but he has to make the final.
Got that? Is that not bizarre? That’s what it seems like from the trailer on Apple through dtheatre. Go have a look and let us know what you think.
