Failure To Launch Trailer

Failure To LaunchMatthew McConaughey’s new Failure To Lunch trailer is online… and I’d hate to say it… but I think it actually look pretty clever. Yes it’s another Romantic Comedy… Yes you already know the two will end up together at the end with some big romantic twist… Yes there will be Cheese. But overall I watched the Faliure to Launch trailer and I smiled through most of it.

One thing’s for sure, as far as the cast goes this movie has the BROADEST potential market appeal I think I’ve ever seen. You’ve got your Sex and the City crowd (chicks) wish Sarah Jessica Parker, you’ve got your sports crowd with Terry Bradshaw and a big name A-List guy like McConaughey (now I’m as straight as they come… but this guy is so stupidly good looking that if I were gay… I’m pretty sure I’d be a stalker). Oh, and an Academy Award winner in Kathy Bates too.

The premise is simple. McConaughey plays a 35 years old guys who still lives at home with his parents. The parents, desperate to get him out, hire Parker to lure him out. I’m not explaining it very well.. but take my word for it… it looks cute.
