I’ve been following a few smaller movies of late and one that has an excellent Blog (a real one too) is Eve of Understanding. You’ll find so much information about the movie, production process, and everything involved in making and marketing a film, it’s extremely interesting and comprehensive.
Now the news is that they are finished and have a spot at the Sedona Film Festival.
So on the surface it appears that the movie is finished. And for the most part, this is true. However, if we’d actually like to screen the film, we need something in our hands to actually screen…
…In a few days we’ll have both a digiBeta and an HD tape with our color corrected picture and mixed sound. Hooray! Then, for all you who have asked, I’ll be able to finally officially answer that the film itself is complete. And for those of you keeping track, we’re about ten days away from the year anniversary of when Eve of Understanding was officially started.
For those of you who can make it, check out the trailer and footage at the Eve site, then catch the movie at Sedona.

Sedona, AZ 86336We’d love for anyone to come and check out the film who’s in the area. A lot of the cast and filmmakers will be there, which should make for a great environment and Q+A – my first.
Well done guys, look forward to seeing it.
