Brandon Routh To Receive “Star Of Tomorrow” Award

Brandon Routh FaceLooks like Brandon Routh’s work on the set of Superman Returns has impressed a lot of studio people. On March 16th Routh will be the ShoWest’s recipient of the “Male Star Of Tomorrow” honors.

“Brandon Routh, star of the upcoming “Superman Returns,” will be honored as ShoWest’s Male Star of Tomorrow at the annual exhibitors convention, which begins March 13 in Las Vegas. He will receive the recognition March 16 at the closing-night ceremony at the Paris Las Vegas Hotel.

Let’s be real here… this may mean nothing at all, but it should be looked at as nothing but positive (if anything at all). I’ve stood behind Singer’s decision to cast Routh since the day it was announced for one reason and one reason only. Singer is a magician when it comes to casting his leads. His history shows he deserves the benefit of the doubt until proved otherwise.
