There’s a new project being chatted about around the internet today called “1408” that has my attention for a couple of reasons. First of all, 1408 already has 2 solid leads attached to the film, John Cusack (who is seriously one of my favorites… man I could watch Grosse Pointe Blank a thousand times), and Samuel Jackson.
The second reason it caught my attention is the plot. The good folks over at Cinescape give us the following:
Based on a short story by Stephen King, the story cetners on a debunker of paranormal occurrences (John Cusack) who encounters real terror when he checks into the notorious Room 1408 at the Dolphin Hotel. Jackson plays the manager of the hotel.
Hmmm… sounds like it has potential. Keep your eyes open for this one.
