Ali G In Ocean’s 13?

I’m more of a fan of the Ocean’s 11 and Ocean’s 12 movies than most (12 was the weaker of the 2… but I still kinda liked it for some reason). I’m also a big Sacha Baron Cohen (Ali G, Borat) fan. So imagine my glee to find out that it looks like Baron is going to be appearing in Ocean’s 13.

It seems that George Clooney is an Ali G fan, and with the momentum that Baron’s career has been picking up Clooney decided to write a role just for him in the flick. The good folks over at Cinematical give us this:

Clooney admitted to Sky News that he’s a big fan of Cohen’s work and that, if he decides to get down with the role, he’d be playing an “oddball character.” Oh, and the rest of Ocean’s crew are just so normal, right?

If nothing else, casting Baron in the role would instantly diversify the market that would be interested in seeing this film. Good move from a business point of view, and he would fit in nicely offsetting the rest of the cast (in a smaller role). Hope this is for real.
