A buddy of mine thought this sounded dumb… but I think this is pure gold. I LOVE Danny DeVito, and my respect for Matthew Broderick has jumped like 10 miles ever since I saw his amazing performance in The Producers.
The good folks over at Cinema Confidential are reporting that the two are going to star in a Christmas comedy called “All Lit Up”. Here’s the idea:
DeVito and Broderick will play neighbors in a small New England town who collide when one decides to decorate his house for the holidays so brightly that it can be seen from space.
Sound a little formulaic? Yeah sure… but I still think it sounds hilarious with these two in it. The film is supposed to be ready for release THIS YEAR at around holiday time. Here’s hoping!
