Kevin Smith on X-Men 3

I don’t think I’d qualify myself as one of Kevin Smith’s “fan boys”, but I’ve got to tell you my respect for the man has been steadily growing over the last year or so for various reasons.

Anyway, the good folks over at FIlmrot have put up Smith’s thoughts on the new X-Men 3 flick. Here’s what SMith had to say:

Hit the “X-Men: The Last Stand” premiere last night. The entire cast was in attendance, and the flick was insanely well-received by the packed-house audience. Anyone who was sweating Brett Ratner as a director can relax: the flick’s a fun watch.

Well so there you go. Smith thinks it’s good. Now keep in mind, I really enjoyed Revenge of the Sith, and Smith came out early and said he loved it… so I’m inclined to give his opinion on the matter a little more weight. However… if you HATED Revenge of the Sith… you may not like hearing Smith say he likes X-Men. Let’s leave it to the philosophers to debate.
