Metal Gear Solid Movie Without Uwe Boll

Metal Gear Solid (A offshoot of a series originally released on NES) is one of the few games that has always carried interesting philosophical positions on war and the struggle for power. According to AICN:

According to flyers being distributed at E3, Hideo Kojima – overlord of the METAL GEAR series – indicates he has finalized a contract that should bring about a MGS live-action movie. Kojima emphasizes Uwe Boll will not be associated with the project in any way. This thing’s already off to a good start!

Not enough info to say whether or not it will be a film worth seeing but if they maintain a mindset of making an intelligent war film based on the series (and keep it far off Boll’s radar) it might be a film to watch out for.
