We just don’t get to see enough of Michael Keaton these days (I’m still holding out hope that he get to be The Joker… that probably won’t happen). It looks like Keaton’s next project is for a horror/thriller flick called “The Reaper” (nice title). The good folks over at Bloody Disgusting give us the following:
The film tells the story of Virgil, a private investigator who finds himself recruited by the darkly beautiful and mysterious Delia. As he begins to work for Delia, Virgil finds himself suddenly immersed in a surreal underworld, one where the boundaries of life and death as well as right and wrong are completely blurred. The unlikely journey also reveals the harrowing answers to the fate of Virgil’s own daughter.
Sounds interesting. I still think my favorite Keaton performance of all time was when he played they mass murderer in Desperate Measures. Man he creeped the hell outta me… and he looked like he could kick the crap out of a biker gang in that one too. I hope this one ends up being a bigger success for him than White Noise was.
