Now YOU Can Post On The Movie Blog

Hey there everyone, John here!

As I announced yesterday on The Audio Edition, today we’re rolling out a new little feature here on The Movie Blog: Submitting your own posts!

For almost a year now I’ve had people asking me for the ability to post stories to The Movie Blog, much like the way Slashdot or Digg does it. I’m still a little paranoid about opening up that much, but for the next few weeks (as a trial run) you can go to the new post submission page and add a movie news story with some of your own commentary to The Movie Blog.

For now, the post submissions will be moderated so they’ll probably take anywhere from 30 minutes to a few hours to appear on the main page of the site. We’ll take a few weeks and see how it works. Maybe thousands will submit stories… maybe no one will. We’ll just see.

So go ahead! Heard of a great movie news story that we haven’t reported yet on The Movie Blog? Go Post it yourself!

Please feel free to email me and let me know how you think we can improve this process. It’s all a work in progress.

I can’t wait to see what you guys come up with.!

~John
